With the tag team division on the rise – can the division be brought back to a level that we haven’t seen in years? Back in the early to mid 1990s, there were some amazing tag teams that made the division one of the best and a highlight of sorts. You had teams like the Steiner Brothers, the Hart Foundation, the Legion of Doom and so many others.

Today – there seems to be a resurgence of sorts and as a result, there could be hope for another boom in the tag team division that we’ve never seen. A few examples are the young and entertaining team of the Usos, twin brothers who both have a huge amount of athleticism, energy and can connect with the crowd.

Another young up and coming team – Cesaro and Tyson Kidd. These two on their own might be great but together, they can be magic. Tyson Kid is someone who’s been waiting years to get on the upper card rather than just another afterthought. Cesaro has admittedly had a successful run as United States champion but circumstances lead him get lost in the shuffle after winning the Andre the Giant Battle Royale.

Lastly are the tag team champions – The Miz and Damien Mizdow. This team is more of a comedy duo than anything but their model works and together with good wrestling and interesting mic skills – they are the right fit to represent the tag team division.
